![]() For the chiefs with two bodyguards, one sends a death threat and one is commanded to betray. My strategy is to dominate all the bodyguards first. Anyway, it's an avenue worth playing around with, but I think Shadow Killing would be faster over all.įor the Trial of Wisdom (and I assume Endless, which I haven't tried out yet but will get to), I am wondering what the optimal strategy to defeat all the warchiefs and captains as quickly as possible is. Also, I think the bonus for infighting deaths (Uruk on Uruk) is high, somewhere around 30-40. A basic warrior dispatched this way would net you 30 points (compared to 50 for stealth kill/shadow kill), while a hunter/defender/beserker would net 70 (the same as a stealth kill/shadow kill). When you kill them via dispatch, you get their point value again plus 10 points for terrify. It seems fairly easy to stealth brand (and it seems to make less noise/attract less attention than a regular stealth kill) and each time you do, you get the point value of the enemy you branded. I have my runes set up so that whenever I brand an enemy, I get 8-12 Elf Shot back, and if your skill tree is maxed out you only need 5 hits to activate the combat brand finisher which you can use twice to refill your Elf Shot and get back to chaining Shadow Kill.Īnother seemingly lucrative source of points I haven't fully tried out yet would be to mass brand and mass dispatch large groups of enemies. It gives the same amount of points as a stealth kill (this means 50-80 points per kill depending on the enemy) and with max Elf shot you can do 7 in a row (350-560 points). The Shadow Strike/Kill (Forgot the exact name but the one where you aim the bow and press attack to teleport and instant KO) skill seems to be the best skill for farming points, especially when chaining it. I'm most familiar/practiced with the "Wisdom" trial (Kill all 5 Warchiefs and 20 Captains in 50 minutes with 1 death and I think 22000 points for elite). I'll edit this tomorrow (edit: as in, after I wake up) when I get back on my PC with the Runes that I have, but I can outline a few basic strategies. ![]() These posts will be removed and result in a ban from the subreddit.įor those of you interested in getting better scores in the Trials of War, I figured we could post our tips here!.Mark posts as NSFW only when necessary.ĭo not discuss piracy or post illegal links. As with the above rule, /r/shadowofmordor is not a place for self promotion. No personal livestreams, reuploads, or reposted trailers.
